Shower for Brooklyn

This week has been crazy busy, I finally get a chance to blog about it. We started the week with trying to get our car fixed for the hundredth time. It has been never ending roller coaster of problems, starting with all the things Jim had to fix to get it ready for emissions. The next day, when Jim drove it to work something fell out when he was closing the door. Good thing he figured it out on his own and fixed it. We took it to do it's inspections and the guy at the Jiffy Lube brakes the key, leaving half of it in the ignition. Another problem to add on top and another hundred dollar bill to pay to get it off.

Couple of days later the car's speedometer starts going crazy and it stopped driving. We have just about had it. The though of replacing the car's transmissions just put us in another shock. But Heavenly Father had a pitty on us and we only had to change a part of a transmission, instead of the whole thing, which was a blessing. By the end of all this car surprises we are pretty much broke, but that is OK, I guess all of this will make us stronger somewhere along the way:)

Now about more Fun things in Life like Joy, Babies, Friends and Parties....

I had fun teaching Joy School this week, we talked about eating healthy foods and just a little bit of sweets. I started watching myself and what I eat and noticed that I eat more then just a little treats through the day.

This Thursday My Friend Leah and I threw a Baby shower for our friend Katherine and her Baby Brooklyn soon to come. We had so much fun playing fun games and enjoying chocolate dipped fruit.

Katherine is focusing on making a hair flower for her Baby Brooklyn

My favorite picture, I hate my face in it, but everybody else looks cute:)

Daddy came home and took the kids from our hands. This is what happened to AJ. Notice it was not Mom who dressed him this way. Daddy says AJ handed him leggings and wanted him to put them on his legs, the rest followed.

Our Camping Trip!!!

About 2-3 weeks ago our awesome neighbors The Mayfields invited us and The other awesome neighbors The Browns to go Camping at Bridger Lake. What a fun time we had relaxing, playing games and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

Bridger Lake

It was fun to finally put our new 6 people tent into use. Here it is in it's full glory:)

I always feel like I need to bring an inflatable boat to have fun in the water. Unfortunately our boat only served as Tasia's Bed Boat to keep her away from sleeping with us.

First time we went to see this beautiful lake AJ kept on climbing up these rocks and going down over and over and Mom kept stressing over him falling and hurting himself, but that is not unusual around here.

Aj is a cute kid, but man, he was not easy to camp with. He has no fear of fire, falling, or grabbing the biggest knife there was.

This is going to be one big post. We have been having so much fun this summer. Growing a garden and flowers has been a hard and rewording job.

Couple of days ago AJ got a hair cut, because his mop was getting longer and longer and I was tempted to do pony tails on him a lot. Dad and I agreed that it would be better for a little boy to be more clean cut rather then start long hair at this age.

After I buzzed AJ's hair, Tasia wanted me to buzz hers. Well, we ended up trimming Tasia's hair too and it turned out pretty cute.

This is my girl having fun with the flowers.

My favorite

This one too

These pictures are from today, I was listening to some Russian music (Alla Pugacheva), Tasia's favorite for dancing. She just does not stop dancing and I can't help it but do it with her.

So, we cranked the CD player to it's highest volume and began dancing on our front lawn, who cares what the neighbors will think, right???

I wish I had the video of this, we had so much fun!!!

It has been soooo long!!!

I feel like I have not been blogging and that I have abandoned my friends here. I am so sorry it has been stressful couple of weeks with the upcoming wedding that I was shooting I am finally coming out of it,,, I have learned a couple of lessons

First how much I am thankful to be a stay at home Mom, I just can't live without my kids. I spent a day without my family while shooting the wedding and the reception and I felt like a professional woman and all of that, but when I CAME HOME I realized that none of that really matters. All I really want and need in my life is to spent my precious time with my children and husband. I realized that I need to stick with that what makes me happy: my Family and ONLY Family Photography for that Matter. NO MORE WEDDINGS!!! Here I have been there, I have knows a couple of photographers who said I don't do weddings and wondered why??? This is where you actually can make money... Now I know, I DON"T DO WEDDINGS!!! It is too much to explain, all you have to do is to try to shoot one and you will know if you are a Wedding Photographer or Not. I am not, too much stress, headache and pain in the butt. Like my sister in law said: If you can't get inside the people's mind you won't really know what they want. So there, enough has been said:)

Since the wedding I have not picked up my camera in almost 2 weeks, crazy, now I am starting to miss it ... I am excited to do some kids and newborns in a next little while, these little guys really do make me happy.

Anyhow, last week-end we went on a camp out with our Old Word now, It was great, the first time we actually went on a camp with our word is when were were not the part of it anymore... But that is when you start realizing how much you love and miss the people you already know... I really do miss seeing all you 7th word at Church, don't be strangers and stop by every ones in a while. Yeas and as you can see I have not pictures from the camp, Sad really,

But this last Wednesday Jim took a day off and we went to 7 Peacks with our kids, it was so much fun, Tasia really enjoyed the purple tube slide and all the other fun stuff as for AJ you can see he epent most of the time sleeping, I think he and Dad enjoyed the trip too:)

I miss this Canyon and the Park. This park is where I was falling in love with Jim 6 years ago. First time we met we played where with our freinds and now we bring our 2 kids here.

THE BEST camping trip ever!!!

So this Friday we have decided to go camping, FINALLY! It was in our plans last week but the weather interfered. Friday is the Day, we decided. We have a brand new Tent Jim got for Father's day last year we did not get a chance to use, because AJ was still a small baby. So there is was,,, Great plans, lots of preparation. I spent all day making food and getting everything we needed for the trip. Jim got home little earlier and we packed up the car. Tasia was so excited she could hardly stand herself, we were too. I love the outdoors.

On the way to the Canyon we stopped to get some more things in the store that we were missing. Kids were already getting pretty restless, but we were on OUR WAY!!! There was a huge line of cars waiting to get into the canyon, which got us little worried about the camping spot, so we decided to drive little further to the Silver lake and hike up there for a camp spot. You have to camp 1/2 mile away from the lake, which is a pain with kids, but we decided to do it. I had our chairs and Tasia, Jim carried AJ and our BRAND NEW TENT that we were so excited to use...(I know it is getting long and I have no pictures but bare with me, you will know why)...

We hiked up higher and higher in hopes to find a more flat spot for the tent, nothing really worked, but after about 20 minutes searching from one place into another, going through some thick shfubbery we decided on a spot. OK,,, here we are,,, By that time kids were getting very hungly and impasient, but we made it. We started unrolling our BRAND NEW 7 people tent and realized that The Brand NEW Tent did not have polls in it!!!!

Cruddd..............................
I am trying very hard not to say this word but it is the time...

So we packed up our stuff, ate the dinner in the car(those of us who felt like it, which was just Tasia) and spent another 1,5 driving the dirt road back. Here was the story of the BEST Camping Trip EVER. I told muself that was the Last time I am ever going to go camping. But I find myslef sighning up for the Work Campu out at Church today,

PLEASEm somebody, remind us not to forget the polls again!!!
